As you step inside, you are greeted with a cozy ambiance that invites families, couples, and friends to gather over a meal. Your culinary adventure at Scrapyard begins with its wide range of classic Filipino dishes, from the beloved Tapsilog to comforting bowls of Goto and Mami. Customers rave about the flavors and heartiness of each dish, confirming that sometimes, simple fare can truly excel in taste. One thrilled diner, Mark Christian, was happily surprised by the establishment's distinctive style and culinary offerings.
Not only does Scrapyard Cafe cater to traditional tastes, but it also excels in vibrant and refreshing drinks, such as the popular ripe mango shake, which has caught the attention of patrons like Paul Regaspi, who praises both the drink and the reasonable prices. The desserts, especially the Leche Flan, are a must-try and add a sweet ending to your meal.
As the restaurant evolves from its humble beginnings, Wanda Maximoff notes how the once-ordinary gotohan has transformed into a bustling establishment with a diverse menu. Highlights include the crispy Pata—perfect for sharing—and the local favorite, Lugaw Overload, which Noriel Sanvictores highly recommends for its satisfying portions. While some dishes may occasionally lack certain ingredients, they still manage to stand out with flavors that resonate well with diners.
The friendly and attentive staff enhance the overall dining experience, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and well taken care of. Despite the occasional parking challenge, the restaurant's inviting atmosphere and delicious offerings make it worth the visit. Whether you're indulging in Sisig or savoring a Buttered Chicken dish, like Archie Noel Chua did, you're sure to leave satisfied.

“ At first.. I thought Iwas an ordinary canteen. But I'm surprise when I came in, the place has its own style. It looks like an antique shop. It serves ordinary but delicious dishes like Tapsilog, goto, Mami and more. Next visit I will try Pares ”
“ The place has a nice ambience. The price matches the food and service. I love the ripe mango shake and leche flan. ”
“ This used to be a typical gotohan many years ago (I've been out of the country for 9 years), now it's already huge and have a lot of variety of foods to choose from. The crispy Pata is just right for a group of 4. The chopsuey lacks some other veggies and quail eggs. You're lucky if you can get a decent parking space in front of the restaurant. The staffs are very attentive and welcoming ”
“ Nice ambience. Good for families, couples, group of friends. Lugaw Overload is a must try! ”
“ It's a nice place to have good and filling but inexpensive snack (tokwa't baboy, goto, fresh fruit shakes, etc). Haven't tried their full and pricey meals though. Parking can be a challenge for 4 wheels. ”
